Will's Signature Look

Here's Will making his signature "Please don't talk to me right now" face when Nana asked him to smile for her on the ride.

Papa and Jonny

Mother's Day

I had an amazing Mother's Day! My mom and dad were here visiting for a whole week and we spent part of our Mother's Day in Hershey. Let me tell you--a day surrounded by chocolate is heaven on earth! I feel so blessed to have such an amazing family . . . all three of my boys make me feel so loved. Thank you Nana and Papa for visiting and making this Mother's Day extra special for our whole family. We love you and miss you already!

Sugar High

Will, Daddy, Jonny, and Papa taking a rest after running around the Chocolate Factory. . . they came down from their sugar high early.

Where's the Fire?

Jonny loved the oversize toys he played with, but I think the real fire truck was a hit! He didn't quite know what to do with himself.

Playwise Time

Nana and Papa took us to a fun indoor place called Playwise. It was our first time there and we had a ball!  Jonny and I played piano while Nana and Papa followed Will around as he chased, climbed, played in an oversize sandbox, and ran himself ragged. We were exhausted by the end of the day.

Orange Crush

Daddy and Will went outside to play and took a rest with some Orange Crush . . . Will would rather have soda than a milk shake! Since Derrik is a Mt. Dew fanatic and I am basically addicted to Diet Coke I guess we shouldn't be too shocked our three-year-old prefers soda to something yummy like a milkshake.
This is their "angry face" because I made them stop drinking for a minute to pose for a picture.

Upside Down Binkie

Ok, so I think most of you know that our little Jonny boy is a bit of a snob and ONLY wants his binkie upside down. This was a classic shot of him with it in his mouth the wrong way . . . if you put it in the "normal" way he flips it upside down immediately.

Texas???

Sister Dearest,
You may have sold me on San Antonio . . . I loved so much about it . . . "but it's in Texas", says Derrik.  There were some great Mexican places out there, much better than Taco Bell which is about all we have out here. That may have won Derrik over. :)

Sisters Weekend In San Antonio

I went to visit Alli in San Antonio for a long weekend while Derrik played Mr. Mom. I missed my boys like crazy, but it was a nice break! :) As soon as she picked me up from the airport we went to Sea World and I finally met her main man Mike Jacobs (two thumbs up!) and his sister, Deb, and her two boys, Jacob and Joshua. We had a great time watching Shamu do tricks. The rest of the weekend was spent touring around the Alamo, River Walk, and suburbs nearby. We had a great sisters' weekend shopping, eating out, and sleeping in. Thank you Mike and Alli for a fun weekend. We'll have to do it again sometime for sure! See you in Vegas in a few months!

Will Golfing

We went to the park for Family Home Evening one night and Will practiced his golf swing while Jonny gnawed on the golf bag. Such form and concentration!

Jen's Birthday Dinner

Cheesecake!!! I had a girls' night out with Jerianne, Chanelly, Gina, and Hannah for my birthday.  We went without our precious wee ones to a fun dinner at Cheesecake Factory then shopping at the Columbia Mall afterwards. It was so fun to have some grown-up time out. Thanks girls for helping me celebrate!
